I can’t even! Honestly, I know it was for the best — but I’d have had a hard time turning Scout over to the rescue.
He was adorable. š

he looks like a new born and is so precious.. sad and happy story at the same time. I hope he is still doing well in the wild..
The nice thing is they put him with other rescues so he can learn to be a deer, not a pet.
That was hard to watch. I felt so sad for him but thankfully he was taken care of. I wonder what happened to his mom.
It was so sad when he ran to them for help. And they were afraid to take him too soon in case the mother came back.
Ditto to what Deborah Pucci said. Iām happy he was rescued but Iām sad too.
