Guess which hyacinths were grown by Torben in Massachusetts and which were grown up on the land in New Mexico.
Do you think they’re trying to tell us something?

No clue which is which but I love hyacinth. They are my favorite spring flower. I just love the scent.
I love the scent too. 🙂
We have some lavender hyacinths that pop up in the spring – just love the sweet smell. But they don’t last long, especially if we get a cold April night. I planted a hyacinth bean that is supposed to be a climber. I can’t wait to see how it does.
I love lthe smell too. We think the switching from warm to cold so often did ours in.
Wow, I sure do!
Poor babies! They didn’t like our temperature swings we think.
I’m sure the first picture is Torben’s ones – but isn’t it nice to be seeing bulbs bloom wherever they are…
It’s fun to try things and see what happens. 🙂
I to take the first one is Massachusetts and the rest are yours and whichever they are there beautiful
Ours aren’t nearly as happy as Torben’s are, but we’ll see if they come up again next year.
Lovely purple blooms!
But! Can Massachusetts produce tomatoes as fine as Andy’s?
Not without a greenhouse. 🙂
I thought the first was Massachusetts, them thought no I am probably wrong…then saw your reply to Sandra.
Yes, the beautiful ones are Torben’s. 🙂
Love the smell of hyacinths!
I do too!
That’s what our spring flowers do…but may be way different…the bulbs rot in the ground because of the water table.
That’s the opposite problem from us with our drought. I can see why bulbs wouldn’t like it where you are.
