So, did Tempi look relaxed and cool on the table in yesterday’s post? In fact, Kaitlin and Torben just paved their patio with bluestone, which would probably be cooler.

Tempi is a very smart, thoughtful, and mostly good-natured pup. She does love to sit in chairs, couches, and other high places. At home she’s allowed to climb on the furniture, but that’s often a no-no when she visits her grandparents.
Sitting on the rocking chair on the porch was all right.
But she isn’t supposed to sit on the couch, even though the view there is better for her when she’s inside. Once when she tested the rule, she was told to get down. OK, no problem, she just hopped on the table. The view was better from there anyway.
I should point out that now when she sits on the rocking chair inside no one objects.
She’s smart enough to realize that humans aren’t consistent and rules can change. So a smart pup will check from time to time.
Again, I do love those pups. ♥

I Still laugh out loud at her rationing of where to sit and picking the Table since the couch was not allowed. and she was totally right. the VIEW was perfect!

So cute, sitting in a chair just like a person! Bluestone…i think that is partly what Stonehedge is made of! It would be so cool to lay on.

I am laughing and almost tearing up. Beau does this. not on the table but he sits just like this and just melts our heart. Temp has melted mine down on the floor. thank you for showing these. love the new patio.. We never had a dog that sat like this, they all laid on furniture and beds but not sitting like a person… hugs sweet pups

Oh Tempi is quite a girl. I got a good laugh out of her getting on the table when she wasn’t allowed on the couch.

None of the three pups here now are interested in getting up on any of the furniture inside. Misty does like to nap up on the hearth stone. But when they are outside, the favorite viewing spot is at the top of the deck stairs – they get a good view of the land from there:)

oh and neither of them would have issues if they got lost – Zoe would locate the food, and Tempi would make sure they were out of the way of other creatures…
Don’t forget Zoe chasing the elk. Tempi wouldn’t have a chance of protecting her. 🙂
