Homer and Edna

Kaitlin, Torben and the pups are coming the evening of July 3rd, and they’ll stay on the land about six days. I decided I should practice taking pictures with my iPhone before they come…so a week or so ago I walked the couple of blocks over to our pond to take pictures of Homer and Edna, our resident geese.

I also took a photo of the sunset. It wasn’t dramatic…as usual the sun just disappeared behind the mountains.

There are few more pictures in this Flickr album.

I think there are three ducks total, but last night I only saw one, between Homer and Edna. I checked, we’re 0.3 miles from there, an easy walk.

  4. I’m happy for you that you’re going to see your family for some quality time.

It looks like you were lucky to catch the geese on that side of the very large pond! Did you invite them to an exciting photo op, lol?

Nice to meet Edna and Homer. Your photos are superb!!! Hope you all have a fantastic visit. We would so love to visit with our son and family in Texas or have them here – we haven’t seen them since September 2019!!! But our daughter-in-law has to have rotator cuff surgery in a few weeks so life will be tough for her for a while.
