Ladybugs

We had a great time yesterday, it was relaxed but there were still plenty of things to keep us amused.

Andy, Kaitlin, and Torben gathered some ladybugs from under oak leaves and transported them to the greenhouse.

Andy and I also saw some deer on the drive home.

More tomorrow. Take care and have fun.

Must admit, I was at a ‘lady bug’ loss until I consulted Google. Every day’s a school day!

PS – Thanks to Kaitlin for the GPS info!

your mountain is beyond wonderful. wish i could visit it. wow that is a lot of ladybugs. i have only ever seen one or two at one time…

  6. I too, had to google the benefits of having having ladybugs in your greenhouse. I can’t believe how many you were able to collect. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 8-9 at a time.

I understand you can now buy ladybugs online but you certainly don’t need to do that where you live. They are very helpful to plants, I’m told. I just like the look of them.

  8. That is a lot of ladybugs. I’m assuming they must be good for plants in some way
