I didn’t know about this until after I had my breakfast, which started with a big dish of watermelon. It’s my favorite part of summer.

I like a bit of watermelon, the hubby does not. So if I want some, I have to have my share and then drop the rest off to the grands:) That photo watermelon looks delicious.
Our store sells containers of cut-up watermelon and other fruit, which is great for us.
Love watermelon too.

Right water melon is out of season here, not even an imported one but ordinary melons are here, I just finished up a rock melon I bought last week…
Yes, your seasons are just the opposite of ours.
We just finished number five watermelon and number six is waiting on the counter and I hate for them to go out. Hours are local grown most of them and they are absolutely delicious I buy one every Saturday and we cut it up into small pieces and keep it in the refrigerator and that’s our snack between meals. It takes longer than a week for two of us to eat one even though I get the smaller ones but the one sitting on the counter sit there long enough it takes about a week and a half to eat one
A kindred spirit for the love, but I buy containers of them already cut up. Andy doesn’t like them as much as I do, and it’s best if I eat other things too. I really do love watermelon. 🙂
I had no idea it was national watermelon day. I love watermelon but if I buy a whole one I never finish it before it goes bad.
Our supermarket sells containers of them cut up. It’s a lot more convenient for one person.
