Sunday I went over to the pond as the sun was going down. Homer and Edna are doing fine.
And so are the ducks.
It was a pleasant evening.

I have unfond memories of those white geese, they used to chase me and hiss at me.. farmyard geese they were in KY… that last photo is stunning, you were at the pond at the perfect time. gorgeous

They all seem so n.v unafraid of you. I suppose they are used to people. That last shot is stunning.
People feed them, so they swim towards people, not away.
Great captures! I’ve forgotten — are Homer and Edna (and the ducks) taken somewhere safe when/if the weather turns frigid?
I don’t think so since they put the fountain in to keep the water from freezing, but I will let you know if I hear differently.

I think we’re supposed to get some winter weather soon. It was in the 40s when I took the pictures.
