A Simple Definition

I should say that happiness is being where one is and not wanting to be anywhere else.

That works for me. The world and life is far from perfect, but I have no desire to be elsewhere, or to be younger than I am. What about you?

    I’m a fish in a big pond, as such. I browse the headlines of which there are too many. I send my thoughts and wellness ideals but that’s the best I can do.
    My prime need right now is to keep Cousin Anxiety, the heavy footed elephants out of my life. And do the basics of home, but expand my creativity in any way that makes me happy..

    this is one thing i find easy to do since moving to Florida 38 years ago. I have no desire to be elsewhere and even though we are living in toddlerville, I am happy most of the time. I do suffer anxiety when things go awry but as soon as they get back to normal I am ok..

    I like your idea!
    I learn this every day. it’s a great motto for getting older.
    and to add to that…. gracefully letting go of what is no longer.
    I’m finding that contentment is a habit. like anything else.

    I’ll agree with that. I know I’m perfectly happy right where I’m at and have no desire to be anywhere else.

    Oh, I have the desire to feel young! Dont necessarily want to be young, but would love to be as able to do things with as much ease as I used to.
