I went to the store for some grapefruit yesterday and actually remembered to buy them. The time before I brought home a lot of nutritious food, but no grapefruit.
Yeah, yeah. I could write a shopping list, but where’s the adventure in that?
Do you agree with Erma Bombeck?
The odds of going to the store for a loaf of bread and coming out with only a loaf of bread are three billion to one.
I do.

LOLOL! you’re in good company. xo
😀
I write grocery lists all the time and I still come home without something on my list. I do agree with her statement!
😀
For sure! I have gone to the store, and come home with everything except when I went for!
😀
even my online “list” isn’t always failsafe – and it will happen after the groceries arrive – “oops you forgot xyz” and there isn’t any more here! I used to pick up the oddments but now I rarely think about that kind of off-site job – rather I’d rather “just be out there, trailing around town” – today I managed both of the items required doing: stuff to law office and pick up some recycled print cartridges…but then I ran of energy for trailing around, so smartly up home.
I’m glad you’re having a chance to get out for a bit. 🙂
Yes…in the golden words of many…been there, done that.
🙂
LOL, yes I agree with Erma. I always bring home some impulse buys.
🙂
agree with Erma. I can’t even go in Publix and pick up RX and come out the door with only our prescriptions… I can not walk in Walmart and come out with one item. Impossible as is shopping without a list. I shop list for any where i go, even when looking in thrift stores. I hate to shop, so i make the list and rush from item to item and out the door. the extra stuff comes becasue the list is always spread out over the whole store causing me to SEE things as I rush by..
🙂
A true statement…at least I am pretty sure it has never happened in my lifetime.
🙂
I sure do agree with Emma!
