Bumpy Road

I took this video (click on the picture) on the way home last Saturday to show the road was bumpy.

Andy has said all the rain has made it a lot worse. I’m going up there today and will let you know.

I chose not to watch that particular video for fear it would make me car sick. I’m sure glad your title warned me. 🙂

  2. Hootin Anni says:

Hope your vehicle has good shocks!!!

  3. Ginny+Hartzler says:

Yikes, it looks like a nightmare to drive over.

  4. looked like your vehicle can handle it, as long as the dude behind the steering wheel can as well…much care

  5. Ann Thompson says:

Yep, that’s a bumpy road alright. That’s the worst part about dirt roads.

that is a bumpy ride, we have roads here far from where we live that are like this, different soil but really bumpy. Andy did a great job holding you steady on the road. and when it quits raining it will get hard and be even more bumpy. we lived on a road like this in Kentucky when I was a child.. do you have to pay for it to be graded when it needs it?

    • Jean says:

We pay to have the road closer to our house graded, but the Forest Service owns this road and it’s unlikely they will grade it again soon. They graded it right after this summer’s fire and it was really smooth until all the rains.

  7. And I used to think the ‘rollercoaster road’ to Espanola was scary!
I’m looking forward to your next video.

  8. Rose says:

Oh, my, I would have enjoyed that drive…but Roger cannot stand bumpy roads now.
