The Valle was overcast and gloomy for part of yesterday, but it was also pretty when the sun came out. This is my favorite shot because it shows two cross country skiers. (There is a higher resolution picture here in Flickr.)

the moon has been super bright all night long for the past 3 nights, we can see the bottome of the pool, the sand from drought and wind, just by moonlight. it was so bright 3 nights ago that bob sat up in bed and said did someone leave the outside light on? he got up to look out and said its the moon. that is the perfect place to cross country ski…
I was surprised that the moon over the Valle didn’t illuminate anything. It does whenever we go up to the land and come home at night under a full moon.
Great night photography! I don’t think I could do that with my iphone! But I’m reluctant to find and set up my old camera, which took good photos, but required that the picture-taker knew what she/he was doing!

I was pleasantly surprised to see how bright and beautiful the moon looked last night. Nice, you not having to worry about the ambient light from towns and cities.

The moon has been big and bright here too. It is easy to tell when there is a full moon. The pups just want to stay outside:)

At first I couldn’t figure out why all the pictures weren’t loading because all I saw was a black square. Then I realized the moon was at the top…lol
