Guess When These Were Taken…

and guess what the temperature was.

They were taken last Tuesday and the temperature was slightly above freezing. I was walking to the laundry room wearing my long down coat and saw the fellow. I couldn’t resist taking the pictures.

What a difference age makes.

Might not be age, I think it is the person. I have a female friend, in her 50’s and she dresses like this all the time and even if there is snow on the ground. she is hot natured like Bob. yesterday he puttered in the garage that was 58 degrees, cold for here, in shorts and a sleeveless shirt. I had the heat on 71 in the house and was chilly with socks and all bundled up. he never wears a coat no matter how cold it gets. we are in a week of cold for us and I love it. wake up to high 40’s go to mid to high 60’s with bright sun. woo hoo… i sleep good at night when it is colder

I was going to guess June and 80 degrees. Boy was I wrong. In the middle of winter guys will come in the store wearing shorts and no coat. I get cold just looking at them. Even when I was young I couldn’t dress like that in the winter.

I thought that was a bit of snow on the other side of the fence!
… Then the ‘momma’ in me was like, “Get that boy a coat!” I do believe it’s a generational thing, b/c I still remember my mother nagging me to put on a coat and me saying, “I don’t need one.”

  5. Oh yes, those younger ones don’t seem to mind the cooler temps, we do though, brrrr. Happy New Year from all of us!

  6. Wow, he’s really determined.

  7. Bruce Taylor says:
