Thursday’s post reminds me of my favorite New Yorker cartoon. A cowboy and his horse look unhappy, squinting to keep the sun out of their eyes. The horse says,

here in Florida riding off into the west will blind you completely any time after 3 pm.. turn it around and flee to the EAST and its even worse, from 8 until 9:30 traveling east is blinding with the rising sun sitting in the middle of the road.
even the sunshade doesn’t help and glasses are not always helpful.
I know. That’s why the cartoon is so funny. 😀
