More Updates

About our Covid shots — our arms were slightly sore, but that was all, thank goodness. And I tried to change that 10 o’clock appointment in July to a 1 o’clock, but none was available. I asked the fellow about future appointments at 1, but he said in general the doctor didn’t do injections that early in the afternoon. We’re not sure what is going on, since we do have that one 1 o’clock, but we will no doubt see.

Andy drove up to the mountains yesterday, and the snow had melted a lot. When he went up last week the snow was up to the top of the tires on the truck. Yesterday Andy was able to drive up to about a half mile from the house. He walked the rest of the way.

He’ll try again soon. Fingers crossed the snow keeps melting.

  1. still looks like a hard slog , but it is Andy’s hobby, so I guess he’s being careful as he goes

Even a half mile is a long walk when it’s cold out.
I wonder what the doctor is doing that he doesn’t take appointments that early in the afternoon. Maybe they interfere with his after lunch nap…lol

I rewrote that part about the appointments. The doctor takes patients in the early afternoon, but not ones that need injections. The doctors drive up from Albuquerque, so we’re happy we don’t have to drive down there to get care.

  4. That’s way too much snow when it’s supposed to be Spring!

That final picture is stunning! Love the aspens’ trunks.

  6. Sorry about the appointment issues. That is a good amount of snow. I do however love seeing the photos.
