Not-So-Pretty Pictures

Blowing snow isn’t as good for pictures as sunshine is.

If the weather report is correct it won’t start melting again until next Sunday. Andy is thinking of staying down here until then. The half-hour walk up the road to the house didn’t tire him out, but it meant there wasn’t enough time to do anything except eat his lunch. We will keep you posted.

  1. aha the dreaded semi time waster – of getting somewhere and then realising the day is done.

I had the other day, when I wanted to paint some boards, but I first had to “Look for” the wide chip brush. That meant boxes every which way. By the time I found it – the daylight for drying the boards once painted would be gone

These pictures make me want to go put on my heavy sweater!
I look forward to updates from the Hill!

  3. Yikes, that’s some crazy Spring weather!

  4. Bruce Taylor says:

I wonder how things are going in the greenhouse.

He hasn’t gone in for a while. I mentioned it today and he says it means he would have to trudge over in the snow. I told him not to worry about it. We will eventually find out.

I got a chill just looking at these pictures. I would think that the worst part about that half mile walk is that you have to do it twice.

the photos may not be pretty like they would be with sunshine but they tell the story of the mountain top and it fits perfectly with the 1/2 mile walk story. I laughed out loud and read this to Bob. good idea to wait a week, but hard to do I am sure. every time I think I should walk to Publix, I think I would make it there but not sure I would make it back pushing/pulling/carrying what I bought

  7. Sorry about the weather. Hope it clears up soon.
