The above pictures were taken from my porch yesterday.
The past few days have been misty and moisty, with a lot of very light drizzles. It won’t last forever, but we’re savoring it and are grateful for the moisture.

absolutely Beautiful. my favorite kind of day. xo
Mine too!
I hope you get enough moisture to cut down on fire danger.
We had about a half and inch up there this afternoon (July 1), so it should help some.
Yesterday we had what looked to me like a smokey sky but turned out to be very fine rain. It was wonderful!
That’s unusual here, but as you say, it’s wonderful.
I love the clouds on the mountains! It looks so much like here, where we live at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I love them too. 🙂
Pretty views!!
🙂
What a wonderful view you have. The last several days have started out warm and humid. Today wasn’t quite as bad as it has been but still.
We’ve been lucky here this year, it used to be that the end of June, beginning of July, was warm and (relatively) sticky.
we are still within the polar blast but it’s not quite as bad as a few days ago…yesterday I finally wore my usual winter extra layers when I was out, and kept me just right.
Today, I’ve only been wandering in the yard, with both of my cameras…decided that daily practice is required. Nothing earth shattering has been shot but what I’ve found it that my hands have gotten worse, which annoys my minds’ eye! Looking into it online (looking at replies after I insert right words in questions on forums) and may have found a solution at least for the actual camera…
Yes, daily practice. I’m starting to put my camera in my pocket when I go out and take a picture or two. I don’t have to save them, but it’s a good habit to have.
How pretty!
🙂
your view is beautiful not matter the weather. I like seeing the stormy look and I know the more moisture the better at this time of year. we are getting a misty rain right now and happy for it
Those misty rains are lovely. All the more because they’re rare here.
Light drizzles are okay. I see your temperature is around 30C, well below the crazy temperatures of the west coast. Our temperature right now is about 14C, cool but very comfortable. I feel sorry for the people of Lytton in Canada, who not only face ridiculous temperatures but have lost virtually their whole town to a wildfire. Terrible.
Yes, wildfires are going to get worse ad worse, I’m afraid.
Today is mostly gray here but no moisture so far.
At lease the air isn’t sucking the moisture from the ground. That helps a bit too.
