Andy’s Snow Day

No, that doesn’t mean he stayed home yesterday. It means he plowed about nine miles of roads. All the way from the house to the highway.

    That’s a LOT of plowing!

  2. Ann Thompson says:

That doesn’t sound like much fun. I like the sounds of staying home much better.

My kinda snow day would be in-home activity ?

  4. Rose says:

I had the exact same thought as Ginny…that is a lot of plowing! But thankful he can plow it. It is better than shoveling or having to stay home.

everybody has to listen to their own drummer!
Andy will always do what He feels he needs to do. I’m happy it worked out!

  6. Well that certainly filled in a bit of his day – but I’d probably stay tucked up in bed for the foreseeable future – errr season.
Having never lived anywhere full time with that kind of season, it always looks lovely to my eye, but ….

sounds like a fun job, as long as its safe and I think it is. this tells me it is 9 miles up your mountain, wow.. I would like to ride in one of those giant snow tractors but then i would have to live in the snow. maybe if I could be transported there for a day I would

It’s nine miles from the highway, but it’s also a long drive from that intersection to our apartment down here. It takes over an hour to drive when he goes that way. Here’s a shorter way but it isn’t drivable right now. That can take less than an hour when the road is clear and dry.

  8. What a guy! Methinks he needs a cookie … or two!

    • Jean says:

No problem. He has some ice cream up there almost every afternoon, then an ice cream bar when he gets home. He also has a stash of cookies and cupcakes up there if he needs more calories. 😀
