What fun videos. I couldn’t help thinking the squirrel in the first was just teasing that dog the way it was running around the bottom of the tree.
So sweet with the second one.
Those are so funny! Zoe and squirrels have always had a complicated relationship. When in CA she would bark like crazy at these two adult squirrels. They had babies, and as the babies started to learn their environment Zoe was so protective of them – would only let them go so far before shooting them back towards Mom, etc. it is fascinating!
These sure made me smile this morning. In the first video, the squirrel was sure testing the dog. My grand-Dog (Lucy) loves to chase the squirrels here at my place. Seems the squirrels are a little too fast for her though.

I know!

Thank you for telling us. I would never have guessed. 🙂

Yes, that squirrel knew what it was doing. 🙂
The first video, I think the squirrel loves teasing him! Otherwise, he would climb all the way up the tree. The second one is so sweet!
I agree with both of those statements. 🙂
These were such fun, Jean.
🙂
Sooo sweet. I love that she brought her babies along!
🙂
Those were really fun videos!

…what do they do if they catch them.
The dogs would probably kill them, but the squirrels are too smart and fast.
