More Modern Times

My Silver Sneakers instructor said she was surprised to receive a text Tuesday evening. It turns out it was from her daughter saying the daughter was in bed, could my instructor come up and tuck her in. We decided that was better than yelling, and it’s nice to have kids who still want to be tucked in at night.

Awww, that is so sweet. We need to learn how to text so we can text Mom in the morning and tell her it is time for our breakfast:)

That’s cute. I have to say though that I think it’s crazy these days how people are so attached to their cell phones.

It certainly is different from the old days. I do use my iPad a lot — for email, the news, and games. I’ve been fighting a cold the past few days and have been playing a lot of Word Jumble. I notice i’m getting a lot faster at it, so presumably it’s been good mental exercise while I’m restoring my physical energy.

I still like to be tucked in when I am sick. It feels so caring.
