More Weather Watching

The sun came out for a bit this morning, so Andy drove up to the intersection of the highway and the beginning of the Dome Road to see what the conditions were like. They were definitely messy!

He won’t try driving in until the weather clears up, so he’s almost certain to be down here again tomorrow. (He has plenty to keep him busy designing a new electronic circuit so there’s no great rush.)

They’re predicting more snow and also high winds tomorrow morning, so we’re guessing when he can drive in he may have a few more fallen trees to deal with. 😀

Weather watching is a lot more fun than reading about national news, don’t you think?

    totally more fun I think.
that’s a beautiful picture! even if the road is messy.
we’re to have rain starting tonight and also high winds.
I’m glad he has a project to work on to make him happy!
I know how much he loves going up there. it will help make it easier not to go!

Yes, I’ll take weather watching over national news any day

Normally I would agree with you, but right now the national news in the UK is totally gripping. Theresa May’s Brexit deal has been defeated yet again, we’re due to leave the EU on March 29, and nobody knows what’s going to happen next. Utter chaos.

All that wind and rain is headed our way too. It sounds like lots and lots of people are in its path. Tell Andy to wait before he goes for the weather to be better. We hope everyone will be safe.

He was planning to try tomorrow, after the storm had passed, but the wind blew down so many trees the highway is closed for a while. How wild is that?!
