The thermometer is so big because Andy wants to be able to see it from outside. When the wind is howling it’s hard to open the door of the greenhouse.

it seems it’s too hot! or then again… maybe not.

It is too hot for carrots and radishes. The electrician has now finished so Andy can play with the fans to get the temperatures more reasonable.
Quite warm then? We don’t have any thermometers, not even medical ones. We just decide it’s “pretty hot” or “a bit chilly”. We don’t hold with these modern gadgets, lol.
We’re just the opposite, we have gobs of them in the apartment. Most of them also read the thermometer outside.
Wow 110. That will keep all those plants nice and toasty. It sure is easy to read too
He needs to work on getting the temperature more suitable for the poor plants, but at least he can see how he’s doing. 😀
I have that same thermometer. I can see it from my bedroom on the other side of the living room and kitchen and outside on the deck. I look at it before I decide what to wear.
