  2. MadSnapper says:

Prayers for all of you caught in the path of this fire storm.. Stay safe, don’t wait go quickly.. love from The What IF Snapper

    • Jean says:

They’re really good about giving us plenty of warning. I’m impressed at how they try to keep us up-to-date in addition to fighting the fire.

  3. tammyj says:

everything always takes longer to do than we think. I hope you have plenty of time even though you’re ‘ready!’ good luck. XOXO

  4. Ginny+Hartzler says:

Oh no. Do you have a place to go yet?

  5. I gave up trying to decipher these maps, but I know y’all are grateful for the communications. ‘Just saw where the Library’s closing in an ‘abundance of caution’ and that quickened my pulse. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go with you.

  6. The OP Pack says:

We have been trying to keep up with what is happening in your area. Our lives are still chaotic, but we have you both in our prayers. Stay safe and aware.

  7. Rose says:

This is a time to really be thankful for all the communication available now. I hope things turn around, but am so glad you will be told if you need to go.

  8. Catalyst says:

I’m a bit confused by all these maps. Are you saying your town itself may be threatened?

    • Jean says:

Yes, an abundance of caution because we have a lot of respect for that wind. The fire itself would be growing slowly on the ground but the wind keeps aircraft from flying and it can start spot fires downwind.

  9. Joared says:

Following developments there which seem to offer some hope then take it away. Winds are crucial factors as I’ve learned from following our Calif. fires in the past that alter the situation in a moment though I’ve never been threatened and certainly not to the degree you are. Sending positive vibes your way that evacuation will not be necessary and this will all end soon for you.

  10. I’m a bit behind today – with everything – and for all I know, you might be on the “run” now – but whatever, keep safe…

  11. Ann Thompson says:

Oh no. This has to be a bit stressful. Praying for you. I’m glad you are prepared and I hope that you won’t need to.

    • Jean says:

Apparently we will have plenty of warning. We’re prepared if we have to evacuate but we’re hoping to be able to stay home.

  12. Sending virtual hugs and good vibes your way for a safe evacuation if you need to go and a good place to stay.
