We had a rainstorm yesterday afternoon. It wasn’t long but it came down fast. Here‘s a video taken through our east door.

Several really pretty flowers, too! That is a BIG rain gauge!

It’s been a long time since we’ve had a rainy season like this. We love it.
Everything looks so wonderfully green. I suppose the down side to this rain is that it makes the defensible space grow back
It also erodes the road. That’s the big project for this week, but Orlando says he and his helper will do it, they don’t need Andy’s help this time.
we love rain too, and it stayed away for the last two days so they could finish our roof, now we want it to come back and wash the new roof. the videos, i think the 3rd one view of the fence, shows and sounds the most rain. he is too cute running back through the beautiful wild flowers

PS – I’ve been meaning to say, even while at work Andy dresses so nice. Most people I see these days are clad in t-shirts, or polos for dress. I don’t think Tom even owns a dress shirt any longer.
It’s actually a white work shirt…we get them from Aramark. That’s been his standard outfit for years.
