One Thing Leads to Another

When I set a reminder on my iPad this afternoon I used my favorite ringtone, Twinkle:

That’s what I use when I have to set an alarm… it’s such a sweet sound to wake up to.

Anyway, Andy has perfect pitch so I decided to ask him if he could figure out the notes so I can play it on my glockenspiel. In the meantime I wondered if there are apps for glockenspiels on the iPad. There are. Here’s Twinkle on one of them…click on the picture to see the video. Andy hasn’t lost his touch.

Update: apparently that link works only for me. Try clicking here and pressing the play button on Flickr.

I wasn’t kidding when I said I have a lot more toys now than I did when I was a kid!

The utube video was enjoyable. The other one brought up error message 403–invalid signature..

Could not get the second one, I kept getting a page that said “Invalid” But the ringtone is very sweet; it sounds like fairy music.

That’s one of those ringtones that I probably wouldn’t hear if it went off.

  7. Sweet!
Not because I like mine — I had to find something guaranteed to get me up and on my feet — I chose a most annoying cuckoo clock.
Yes, we live in the best of times to discover ways of entertaining ourselves.

  8. That ring tone would never wake me out of my trance when I’m working on a computer.
